"Letter to My Mother" is a visual and literary body of work created by artist Branislav Jankic. The short film was shot during the first exhibition of the project in New York, June 2016. It is nominated for 3 awards in the 2017 Madrid International Film Festival. You can watch the trailer here.
The screening will launch “Message to Our Mothers/ Mensaje a Nuestras Madres” (M2M), a 9-month project investigating the same issues in the lives of Coloradans. Continuing in the vein of Jankic’s work, Colorado artists will connect with Colorado storytellers to harness the power of art and storying-telling to combat stigma.
